Pratham Gandhi

Pratham Gandhi is a Cell Biology and Neuroscience major with a strong interest in understanding the biological mechanisms that contribute to neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. He is excited to contribute to research focused on Down syndrome and its connection to Alzheimer’s disease. He is especially interested in learning how this work can improve the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and contribute to advancements in their care. Through this experience, he is deepening his understanding of neuroscience, aging, and translational science while developing the skills needed for a career in healthcare and biomedical science. Outside of academics and the lab, he enjoys playing pickleball, which helps him stay active and maintain a healthy balance between work and his personal life.
