Leisha Sehra is a third-year undergraduate student at Rutgers University–New Brunswick pursuing a double major in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and Cognitive Science on the pre-med track. She is interested in psychiatry and plans to continue contributing to research focused on dementia and cognitive impairment after graduation. Having a relative with Down syndrome has inspired her interest in supporting this community through research that aims to enhance quality of life and well-being. In her free time, Leisha enjoys dancing and often performs at celebratory events for non-profit organizations.
